About

Namasine Dalrymple

Hello dear friends.  I have always had a passion for learning and helping kindred spirits along their journey.  I have had the honor and privilege of working in the counseling profession since 2010.  I work with men and women who suffer from the following:

    -substance abuse

    -depression

    -anxiety

    -bipolar disorder

    -borderline personality disorder

My quest is to provide a healthy space to allow the heart and mind, body and spirit to expand and grow into the genuine self.  I enjoy the work of self-exploration and believe it is an honor accompanying others as they too, self explore. This process is a life journey.

We are all kindred spirits and the most IMPORTANT 'kindred spirit' exists within our inner home that we call the human body. My bliss is joining with others to help encourage and support the expansion of the genuine self.

My story, like so many, is filled with complex parts.  I was raised in a military family and as a result; my youth consisted of many greetings and goodbyes.  We moved often within the United States, mainly throughout the east coast and Midwest.  We found ourselves in Atlanta, Georgia a year before the 1996 Summer Olympics.  This special time was the beginning of my curiosity about my own self-exploration.

As a child and as an adolescent, I fell in love with books and stories and began to find connections to self and others.  I noticed that it didn’t matter the state or city we ventured to because I always found fellow kindred spirits.  This was one of many sacred treasures I was able to experience and still experience today in my practice.  It is in that mindset, that I hope to provide a space for others to expand themselves and to experience many sacred treasures.

Experience

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor.  I graduated from Argosy University in 2008 with a Masters Degree in Professional Counseling.  I have had the pleasure of working with men and women who were seeking recovery from emotional and mental hardships.  I have experience in facilitating individual and group therapy and have practiced in:

-residential programs

-detox facilities

-intensive outpatient

-partial hospitalization programs

I have received training and experience with several therapy modalities.  Those modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.  I use various skills from Internal Family Systems program model.  I also utilize movement, art, music, and mindfulness approaches in the therapy process.  It is my belief that we are a "whole" being, thus the therapy process should be one that addresses the mind, body, and spirit.  My love and passion for therapy is why I frame my language, my ears, and my eyes towards you as "Dear Friends."  Thus, dear friends, I look forward to the experience of you on this Sacred Journey.
