Depression! Difficult to describe, but instantly recognizable to the chronic sufferer...

Manifesting in various ways, millions of people suffer in silence. Women across the world fight daily with crippling depression... impacting the joys of life, conjuring destructive relationship habits, internalizing pain.

 

We are told from a very young age that strong people are silent, able to overcome any obstacle simply by applying increased effort, teaching us to lock grief away as a personal ailment. An affliction that should be handled solely by the individual afflicted. Not accounting for the sad truth that our depression doesn’t only impact us. It impacts everyone around us.

 

Create essential relationships, build a support system, discover the power of verbalizing feelings often internalized. We are stronger together. Together we can overcome.

The journey will begin by us being with other heart filled women who will encourage and support growth, love, and freedom.

  3. Use movement to connect with the physical body. 

Spring Cleaning

Address the secrets by: 

  1. Sharing about shame

  2. Forgiving self & others

  3. Accepting the body

  4. Creating healthy expectations

Lifestyle

  1. Creating space at home.

  2. Creating space at work for rest and safety

Onward Journey

  1. Make new affirming commitments to self.

  2. Journal or write reminders of self growth.

  3. Invite relationships into new daily routines.
